Steps

Our Process

We are able to streamline the bail bond process over the phone or via email. In the grind of everyday life and our hectic schedules, the last thing you want or need to do is bond someone out of jail! But, if you must, we let you choose which way works best for you.

Step 1: Contact Our Bail Agent

Call us or come on in! Either come to one of our offices or stay in the comfort of your own home and let us do the work. We guide you through the required paperwork and discuss flexible payment options to make the bail process simple and stress-free.

Step 2: Complete Paperwork

We will take an application at the office or over the phone as well as payment via debit, credit, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, etc. All cash payments must come to one of our offices.

Step 3: Bail Is Posted!

Once everything is approved, our agent posts the bail bond so the release process can begin as quickly as possible.

Step 4: Your Loved One Is Released from Jail!

After bail is posted, the jail begins processing the release so your loved one can return home.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What crimes are not eligible for bail in Louisiana?

+
Capital murder cases and certain violent felonies face the strictest bail restrictions under Louisiana law. A judge still holds a hearing to review the evidence before making a final ruling on bail eligibility.

Does a bail restriction mean bail is automatically denied?

+
A charge falling into a restricted category doesn’t guarantee an automatic denial. A hearing still takes place, and a defense attorney can present evidence to challenge the presumption against bail.

Does prior criminal history affect bail eligibility?

+
A person with a lengthy record of violent offenses faces a different bail review than someone with no prior record. Repeat violent offenses can influence a judge’s willingness to grant bail.

Can a bail decision be challenged after an initial denial?

+
A defense attorney can request a bail hearing and present character evidence, employment records, or community ties. A judge can revisit bail eligibility as the case develops.

Does bond pricing change for cases involving bail restrictions?

+
Bond pricing for eligible cases follows the rate set by Louisiana Revised Statutes 22:1443, twelve percent of the bond or $120, whichever is greater, regardless of the charge involved. Bail restrictions affect eligibility, not the percentage used to calculate a bond fee.
